Kim is an award-winning interior designer and since founding her own firm in 2004, she has won the Interior Design Society’s prestigious national Designer of the Year (DOTY) awards nine times. Combining creativity with her passion for interiors, Kim offers innovative solutions to enhance clients’ everyday lives, reflecting their personalities, and maximizing each home’s value. She guides the firm’s work across the North Texas region, proudly serving the communities of North Dallas, Frisco, Allen, Fairview, Prosper, and Plano, among others.
Kim is a highly sought-after interior designer who is known for creating beautiful and workable spaces for her clients, tailoring each design to the way they live—both now and in the future. With strong visualization skills and an eye for the details, Kim effortlessly balances style, function, and accessible design standards in her projects, often surpassing clients’ expectations.
Kim has 19 years of experience in the interior design industry and is certified by the Interior Design Society as an IDS Professional. She is an active member of this organization at both the national level as well as the local chapter of IDS-DFW. She is a Certified Living in Place Professional and a Top 10 Dallas member. Previously, she has served as treasurer of the IDS DFW board, co-chair for the IDS DFW Dwell with Dignity project, and co-chair for three years of the DOTY Awards Committee for IDS National.

Lauren is a fellow interior design enthusiast and started out at the firm in 2014 as a Design Assistant. Today, she is a Senior Designer as well as the firm’s Business Operations Manager. Lauren leverages her strong organization and communication skills to keep our interior design projects running smoothly.
A professional member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), Lauren’s imaginative design ideas combined with her knowledge in the design field provides a fresh perspective and balance to the team. Lauren is extremely passionate, insanely organized, and relentlessly committed to the satisfaction of our clients, always finding ways to deliver more value. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Paola joined Design Lifestyles team as our Office Manager and Expeditor. Using her years of experience in luxury sales and customer service, she is focused on building and maintaining strong vendor and client relationships as she coordinates purchasing for our projects and focuses on office management for the Design Lifestyles team. She is an integral part of the seamless and enjoyable client experience we offer.
Paola holds an Associate of Arts degree from Collin College and creates a personal and fun working environment for us at Design Lifestyles all while facilitating the entire process, providing product knowledge, strong communication and exceeding our clients’ expectations.
