Kim Bailey

Kim Bailey is an award-winning interior designer and the founder of Design Lifestyles. Since establishing her firm in 2004, she has been honored with nine national Designer of the Year (DOTY) awards from the Interior Design Society. Known for her ability to blend creativity with functionality, Kim delivers innovative design solutions that enhance clients’ lives, reflect their personalities, and maximize the value of their homes. She leads the firm’s work across the North Texas region, proudly serving communities including North Dallas, Frisco, Allen, Fairview, Prosper, and Plano. A highly sought-after designer, Kim is recognized for crafting beautiful and livable spaces tailored to each client’s unique needs—both for today and the future. With a keen eye for detail and exceptional visualization skills, she effortlessly balances style, function, and accessibility, often surpassing client expectations. With nearly two decades in the industry, Kim is certified by the Interior Design Society (IDS) as an IDS Professional and remains an active member at both the national level and within IDS-DFW. She is a Certified Living in Place Professional and a Top 10 Dallas designer. Previously, she has served as treasurer of the IDS DFW board, co-chair of the IDS DFW Dwell with Dignity project, and co-chair of the DOTY Awards Committee for IDS National for three years. Beyond her design studio, Kim has taken her passion a step further by founding the Heritage School of Interior Design in Dallas. Dedicated to inspiring and equipping the next generation of designers, she believes deeply in passing on her knowledge and experience. Through mentorship and hands-on education, Kim empowers aspiring designers to develop their skills and confidently shape the future of interior design. At the heart of everything she does is family. As a proud mother and grandmother, Kim cherishes the joy, love, and memories shared with her children and five grandchildren. Their laughter and legacy serve as a constant reminder that the most meaningful designs are those woven with tradition, love, and the generations that make a house feel like home. She feels especially blessed to share this journey with her daughter, Lauren Bailey-Rude, carrying forward their shared passion for creating beautifully crafted spaces.

Lauren is a passionate advocate for timeless, luxurious design. Since joining Design Lifestyles in 2014, she has cultivated a deep understanding of the art of interiors, seamlessly balancing creativity with precision. As Senior Designer and Business Operations Manager, she ensures every project flows effortlessly, merging artistry with efficiency. A professional member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), Lauren’s imaginative design ideas combined with her knowledge in the design field provide a fresh perspective and balance to the team. Her meticulous attention to detail and intuitive approach help create spaces that feel both curated and personal. Organized and thoughtful, she strives to bring warmth, sophistication, and enduring beauty to every project. Lauren holds a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband Tyler and their beautiful twin girls, Lily and Lyla.

Kieran McCall

Design Intern

HSID Dallas Master's Student, IDS Member

As Design Intern at Design Lifestyles, Kieran brings enthusiasm, fresh perspective, and a keen eye for detail to every project. Originally from San Jose, California, she holds a Communication Studies degree with a General Business minor from TCU and is currently advancing her expertise at Heritage School of Interior Design, expecting to graduate in Fall 2025. Her love for interiors started early—she fell in love with design when her parents surprised her with a newly decorated room for her 13th birthday. That passion deepened in college when she interned with a family friend who was an interior designer, solidifying her interest in creating beautiful, functional spaces. With experience at West Elm and a natural intuition for design, Kieran is dedicated to refining her craft and shaping spaces that enhance daily life. Now based in Dallas, she and her boyfriend enjoy exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with friends and their german shepherd, Wrangler. Kieran believes great design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about transforming the way people live, move, and experience their surroundings.

Marketing & Social Media Specialist

As Marketing & Social Media Specialist at Design Lifestyles, Megan seamlessly combines her passion for design with her expertise in branding and project management. With her internship experience as a design assistant at Wright Interior Group in Naples, FL, and post-graduation work as a project financial analyst, Megan brings a unique blend of creativity and analytical prowess to her work. Megan’s early career in interior design sharpened her eye for detail and deepened her appreciation for aesthetic principles. Her background in finance further developed her strategic planning and project creation skills. refined her ability to streamline processes and oversee project execution with precision. With a rare combination of numerical proficiency and creativity, she excels at crafting compelling brand narratives, executing dynamic marketing campaigns, and ensuring our social media presence resonates with the right audience. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University. Born and raised in scenic northern Michigan, Megan has a profound appreciation for beautiful surroundings. After work, she enjoys family walks alongside Lake Lewisville with her husband and three rescue dogs.

Nikki Glasgow

Office Manager

Nikki is the steady force behind our daily administration, ensuring efficiency and precision in every detail. As our administrative coordinator, she keeps everything running seamlessly—scheduling appointments, managing logistics, and facilitating vendor communications—all with a thoughtful and organized approach. Her keen attention to detail and ability to streamline processes make her an invaluable part of Design Lifestyles. On a personal note, Nikki earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, originally on a Pre-Med track before life took her in another direction. She’s been married for 30 years, raising two wonderful kids—and one velcro dog, who’s never far from her side. A lifelong creative, Nikki has tried her hand at just about every craft imaginable. Whether exploring new places with her camera in hand, hiking through national parks, or writing in both mind and ink, she finds joy in the details and rhythms of life. She’s active in her church community and has called Frisco home since its early days—with its rapid growth continuing to amuse (and sometimes perplex) her. She feels most at home when surrounded by nature, finding energy and inspiration in the great outdoors.
